FAQs

When speaking with new clients I get asked a lot of questions some of which are very similar. Find below a list of questions that I am often asked and hopefully it will help answer any questions that you may have. If not then feel free to get in touch using the means at the bottom of this page.

My standard hourly rate is £60 per hour ex VAT.

I support a wide range of clients with their Magento 2 websites from large companies to small start ups. With all clients I operate in the same way. Hours are purchased up front and placed on an account. I will then work on any tasks that the client requests using the time purchased on the account. Once the timer hits zero I stop work until more hours are purchased. You will be provided with a login so that you can view exactly how much time has been spent, what that time was spent on and how much time is remaining on your account. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding my support service.

Yes I am currently recognised by Magento as a Certified Associate Magento 2 Developer. I am also currently studying to add more certifications to my belt very soon. You can see my Magento certification profile here.

I like to be as flexible as I can with my payment terms taking into consideration your current circumstances. These terms are agreed at the start of any project before any work is done. Normally for smaller projects a 50% deposit is required up front, with the final 50% paid on completion.

In theory no. My pricing is simple, you only pay for the time it takes me to complete a task or project. I am able to provide you with a time estimation on how long I think something will take but I will never agree to do a task for a fixed price.
